Letter from Apollo: Advisory committee
Hello from Apollo Career Center!
Did you know that each high school and adult education career tech program gathers critical information and direction from a group representing business, industry, students and parents?
Advisory Committees are a state requirement and vital to the relevance and success of Apollo programs. An Advisory Committee is critical to a program for multiple reasons:
- It ensures the curriculum is in line with industry standards.
- Members provide input on equipment to make sure it is up to date and to make recommendations.
- Committees assist both businesses/industry and Apollo by promoting their professions and our programs.
If you are interested in serving on a committee please fill out this quick form or feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Keith Horner
Superintendent, Apollo Career Center
