“Brrrr, winter has arrived with a big chill. But we keep the Senior Center nice and warm. Come in and stay awhile. We will be closed January 2 for the holiday but open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.” That’s your invitation from Bluffton Senior Center director, Tonya Meyer, in the January 2023 installment of the Golden Age News.

The Board of Directors choose a volunteer every year to be honored as the Volunteer of the Year. This year the Board chose Olwen Pritchard for her work with the garage sale/craft sale/Christmas garage sale. Olwen spends all day of the sale working the cash register. Thank you, Olwen, for your hard work.

WINTER WEATHER CLOSINGS 
If winter weather hits and the Bluffton Schools close, the Bluffton Senior Center will cancel all activities. If Allen county goes to level 3, the Senior Center will close. If the weather turns bad during the day, please call ahead. Phone calls are always welcome to check before heading out into the weather.
