Two Pirate boys named to 2nd All-NWC basketball team

Two Bluffton High School boys were named second team All-Northwest Conference in voting recently conducted by the league basketball coaches.
Bluffton sophomore guard Marek Donaldson topped the Pirates in three-point goals made and in scoring to garner second team All-NWC notice.
Pirate junior Wade Ginther came on strong the second half of the season to also earn second team all-league honors.
Bluffton senior guard Carson Soper was tabbed honorable mention All-NWC.
The Pirates finished 14-8 in the regular season, and ended up a solid third in the nine-team NWC standings at 6-2.
Spencerville guard Josh Henline was named NWC Player of the Year.
The Bearcats won the league title at 8-0, and veteran Spencerville mentor Kevin Sensabaugh was voted NWC Coach of the Year.
Crestview finished second at 7-1, followed by Bluffton (6-2), Delphos Jefferson (5-3) and Columbus Grove (4-4).
Allen East came in sixth (3-5), Leipsic was seventh (2-5), Lincolnview eighth (1-7) and Ada ninth (0-8).
