Road construction projects for the week of September 4
ODOT District 1 has announced that following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Allen County during the week of August 4. All outlined work is weather permitting.
- State Route 66 between State Route 81 and the city of Delphos will be restricted to one lane via flaggers for pavement repairs.
- State Route 66 and Cleveland Street in the city of Delphos closed on May 2 for approximately 200 days for full-depth reconstruction.
- State Route 117 in the unincorporated community of Westminster is closed for a safety improvement and resurfacing project. Access to local businesses and residences continues to be maintained.
- State Route 309 westbound, between Elm Street and State Route 81/North Street in the city of Lima, is closed for sewer repair through Sept. 1.
- Various routes in the city of Delphos may have traffic impacts and temporary lane closures for the construction of a Safe Routes to School project. The roads impacted include Pierce Street, Fourth Street, Franklin Street, and Jefferson Street.
Due to the Labor Day holiday, most work will cease on Monday, Sept. 4, and work zones will be minimized. However, some contracted construction projects may continue as usual.
