The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 1, in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Executive Order 11988, is seeking public comments regarding the following proposed projects in Allen County.
Village of Harrod Roadway Reconstruction and Resurfacing (PID: 118800)
The village of Harrod, in partnership with ODOT, is proposing to repair portions of Napoleon Road and Main Street in the village of Harrod. Roadway resurfacing will occur on the north side of town on Napoleon Road/1st Street to the Main Street intersection. Roadway resurfacing will also occur on the south side of town on South Napoleon Road from the Main Street intersection southeast to the Alger Road intersection.
Pavement reconstruction, which will include the installation of new curbs, storm sewer updates, and sidewalk improvements, will occur along Main Street in the village from 1st Street to 6th Street.
Construction activities will result in temporary roadway closures. Vehicular through traffic will be detoured temporarily. Access for local traffic to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.
