Funeral arrangements for Sue Anne Yant
Sue Anne Yant, 72, of Six Mile, South Carolina was born February 01, 1951 in Bluffton, Ohio. She passed away peacefully on September 22, 2023 surrounded by family. Sue was a 1969 graduate of Bluffton High School. She will be deeply missed by family and all who knew her.
Sue embraced life with enthusiasm by cherishing moments spent traveling and exploring new destinations. She could be found swimming with the stingrays, dolphins, or whales off the coast of Baja California or standing atop Mt. Whitney in California (elevation 14,505 ft). However, it was the time she shared with her family that brought her the greatest happiness. Whether weekend tent camping, hiking throughout the Carolinas or spending serene days at the lake, Sue treasured making memories with her loved ones.
Sue is survived by her, high school sweetheart and husband of 53+ years, Steve, children; Aaron Yant (Becky), Courtney Yant, and Lindsay Cooper (Kevin). Her grandchildren; Haley Passmore, Erynn Taylor Yant (Valerie), Kinsley Cagle (Daniel), Rylan Cooper, Addisyn Cooper, and Rheyce Yant and great-grandson Nolan Cagle.
Sue is also survived by a brother; Greg Amstutz (Patti); her sisters; Diane Badertscher, Sharon Sommer (Carl), Sandy Kantner (Rod), and Beverly Hahn (Kevin):, a sister-in-law, Doris Amstutz and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Dwaine Amstutz and Ruth Jones Amstutz; and her brother, Ken Amstutz.
A Celebration of Life Gathering to honor and remember Sue will be held on October 5, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road in Easley, South Carolina. The event will commence at 4:00 p.m. and conclude at 6:00 p.m. Friends and loved ones are cordially invited to come together to pay tribute to a remarkable woman whose love and smile touched countless lives. May her spirit continue to guide and inspire us all.
