Brooke Camper is BHS October Student of the Month
The student of the month for October 2023 at Bluffton High School is Brooke Camper, a senior with a 4.0 GPA. She is the daughter of Dan and Crystal Camper of Bluffton.
Brooke is a member of Latin Club, National Honor Society, St. John's Bible Church youth group and the Beaverdam Bunch 4-H club where she was the secretary and received an award for Outstanding of the Day-Cooking at the Ohio State Fair.
She also received awards as top Latin student in 2022, D3 honors Band 2023, All A honor roll, the President's Award Academic Scholarship at Cedarville, received a 4-year varsity athletic award in Tennis, and won the Elida invite singles title in 2022.
Brooke has played tennis for nine years, four of them on the Bluffton high school team.
Brooke keeps active by volunteering at St. Rita's hospital, is an Awana Leader, works out, plays several instruments and plays in band. She is currently working at On Target Outfitters teaching children outdoors skills while spreading the gospel.
Brooke takes College Credit Plus (CCP) courses in Algebra/Trigonometry, Stats, and Public Speaking through Rhodes State College and is taking Personal Finance, Sociology and English 104 through Findlay University. After graduation she plans to attend Cedarville and major in Nursing.
