Obituary for Jeanette Ruth Lamb-Wuebbeling
Jeanette Ruth Lamb-Wuebbeling, 91, of Findlay, passed away from this life to eternal life on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.
She was born on March 13, 1932 in Hancock County to Orville and Ocie (Herman) Shafer. Jeanette married Donald W. Lamb on October 1, 1950 and he preceded her in death in December of 1990. She later married Earl Wuebbeling and he died in 2015.
Jeanette is survived by two daughters: Teresa A. Caprino and Kimberly (Arden) Robinette; a daughter in-law, Teresa J. Lamb of Findlay; step-grandson, Paul Robinette all of Findlay and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters: her twin sister, Janice Shafer, Nellie Ruebush, Gale Shafer, James Shafer, Wayne Shafer, Lucille Steiner, Robert Shafer, Rex Shafer and infants Dorothy and Ester Shafer.
A graduate of Cory Rawson High School, Jeanette was employed at Westinghouse and later A.O. Smith for 29 years in Upper Sandusky.
Jeanette was a sweet and caring woman full of love. She had a passion for making cut-out cookies and decorating for every holiday. She also enjoyed sewing, planting and nurturing flowers and dancing.
Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home will be assisting Jeanette’s family with a private graveside service in Wharton-Richland Union Cemetery in Wharton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Humane Society and sent to 4550 Fostoria Avenue, Findlay, OH. 45840.
