Jane E. Benroth was an LPN
Jane E. Benroth, 83, passed away May 22, 2024 at Willow Ridge - Frieda House, Bluffton. ane was born March 2, 1941 in Bluffton to the late Daniel and Margaret (Hutchinson) Alspach. On May 5, 1961 she married Richard Dale Benroth who preceded her in death on March 13, 2016.
Jane graduated from Bluffton High School and received her licensed practical nurse degree from the Apollo Career Center in Lima. She was a nurse at Richland Manor, Bluffton. Jane was a member of Bluffton Presbyterian Church, the Bluffton Senior Citizens and was an avid fan of Ohio State Buckeye football.
Survivors include three children, Greg Benroth of Mt. Cory, Brenda (Nick) Mathewson of Ada, Cindy Fulford of Cridersville; eleven grandchildren, Alyssia (Randy) Hunt, Lee Mathewson, Kara Fulford, Ashley (Tim) Brunk, George Fulford, Heather (Jeremy) Jarrell, Ricky (Jessica Davis) Brown, Trina Brown, Felicia Bliss, Ivy Benroth, Zoe Benroth and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Jane was preceded in death by a son, Scott Alan Benroth and a brother, Don Alspach.
Jane's service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
