Richard "Rick" A. Thomas was a journeyman electrician
Richard "Rick" A. Thomas, 57, passed away October 15, 2024, at his home.
Rick was born December 17, 1966 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania to Leroy and Betty (Bowman) Thomas. On November 2, 1988 he married Kathy (Bert) Thomas who survives.
Rick was a graduate of Waynesboro High School. He was a journeyman electrician by trade, but he loved fishing and going on nature walks any opportunity that he had. Rick always doted over his grandchildren.
Rick is survived by his mother, Betty Thomas; his wife, Kathy Thomas of Pandora; two children, Kristal Thomas-Danner of Pandora and Eddy Thomas of Pandora; three grandchildren, Karleigh Carpenter, Karina Danner, and Kayden Thomas; three step-grandchildren, Austin (Morgan) Winters, Sierra (Logan) Donavon, Eli (Hannah) Winters; one step-great-grandchild, Weston Winters; five siblings, Jim (Joyce) Thomas, Rod (Crystal) Thomas, Barry Thomas, Diane (Dave) Dick, and Laure (Bob) Putt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rick was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Thomas.
Rick's services will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2024 at Reformed Mennonite Church, Bluffton with pastors Jim Basinger and Roy Leaman officiating.
