Vocalist Sarah Diller will perform her Bluffton University senior recital at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 3, in Yoder Recital Hall. The recital is free and open to the public; a reception will follow in the lobby.
The Bluffton native, a soprano, will sing numbers by Handel, Rachmaninoff, Schubert and Georges Bizet, as well as "If Somebody There Chanced to Be," from Gilbert and Sullivan's "Ruddigore"; "The Girl in 14G" by Jeanine Tesori; and "Shine" by James Valcq, from the musical "The Spitfire Grill."
Pianist Anna Stembler-Smith will accompany Diller, a voice student of Dr. Crystal Sellers, an assistant professor of music at the university, and the daughter of Gordon and Jodi Diller of Bluffton.
The recital is presented in partial fulfillment of Diller's requirements for graduation with a major in music and a concentration in performance studies.
