Bluffton Public Library hosts several National Library Week Programs
In celebration of National Library Week (April 10-16), the Bluffton Public Library will host three free programs for children. The first is a "Green Project" recycled t-shirt and CD craft program on April 12 at 3:30 p.m. for grades K-12. Participants may bring one or more colored t-shirts to use for craft projects. No registration is necessary for this program.
Then, on April 18, at 6 p.m., children ages 3-8 may come see all of their favorite characters brought to life in our life-size version of the classic game, Candy Land. Children must register in advance for this program and bring a bag or basket to carry treats home. This program is sponsored by the Bluffton Library Teen Advisory Group and will take place in the children's section of the library.
Finally, to kick off spring break, families may come to the library for a special screening of a popular animated Disney film at 3:20 p.m. on April 21. Free Easter-themed snacks will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own beverage. Please register in advance for this program.
For more information on any of these National Library Week programs, please contact Youth Services Coordinator Rikki Steingass at 419-358-5016 or [email protected].
