Beginning June 6, readers of all ages will travel the globe this summer as part of Bluffton Public Library's Summer Reading Program.
Children will explore places from Oceania to Russia through stories, crafts, music, snacks and other activities during the K-5 Summer Reading Club, "One World, Many Stories."
Children in this program must register at the Children's Desk and are required to read five hours during June and July to complete the program.
Area teens in grades 6-12 are encouraged to participate in the Teen Summer Reading Club, "You Are Here," which will require 10 hours of reading to complete.
Teens are also invited to come to the library for several special teen events including Canada Day, a Storytelling Contest and Asian Exploration Day.
Finally, "Novel Destinations" is this summer's theme for adults. Watch a foreign film, read an international mystery, learn travel tips, plan a dream vacation and more during this exciting program.
The Adult Summer Reading Program will feature a film festival, photo contest, book discussions and prize drawings.
Registration for all programs begins on Monday, June 6. For more information, call the library at 419-358-5016, find us on Facebook, or check our website at www.blufftonpubliclibrary.org.
