Bluffton's Brand of Broadway Friday and Saturday at Yoder Recital Hall
After gathering together some of Bluffton's best musicians and vocalists, Pat Rodabaugh, representing the Bluffton Sesquicentennial Committee, is presenting "Bluffton's Brand of Broadway" at Yoder Hall at Bluffton University Friday and Saturday, July 1-2 at 7 p.m.
The show is free and includes selections from 15 Broadway musicals performed by local talent.
Everett Collier, Kevin Gratz, Kara Gratz, Sandy Miller, Kristi and Phil Shey, David Sycks and Rachael Lewis are just a handful of the performers on the program, which also features two male quartets.
Just to whet your musical appetite, some of the numbers on the program are "Satin Doll," "Old Man River," "People Will Say We're in Love," "Give My Regards to Broadway," and "Yankee Doodle Dandy."
There will be something entertaining for all ages and musical tastes. The committee hopes that the community will enjoy the performance, which is set to end the week-long celebration of Bluffton's 150th birthday.
