Bluffton churches: Christmas eve services listed

BLUFFTON PRESBYTERIAN
The Bluffton Presbyterian Church will perform a cantata on Christmas eve. The cantata is "Rise Up, A New Light A Comin'". The cantata will feature soloists Don Brauen and Amanda Rhonemus. The service is at 7 p.m. with a 30-minute music prelude, which includes several numbers of youth of the congregation.
FIRST MENNONITE
First Mennonite Church will hold a Christmas eve service at 6:30 p.m.
BLUFFTON BAPTIST
Bluffton Baptist Church will hold a Christmas eve service titled "Christmas Around the World. Harp music will be performed from 6:30 to 7 p.m. The service will begin at 7 p.m.
TRINITY LUTHERAN
A 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23, service presented by students at Trinity Lutheran School, will be held at Trinity Lutheran, Jenera. The program "Come, Lord Jesus," involves students from pre-school through eighth grade. Pre-service music by youth playing guitar, trumpet and piano begins at 12:30 p.m.
The church Christmas eve service begins with pre-service music at 6:30 p.m., Dec. 24. A repeat performance of "Come, Lord Jesus," will be given at the Christmas eve service.
A Christmas Day celebration service is at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 25. Rev. Jeff Bolwerk will lead the service. The adult choir and hand bell choir will perform. Additional information is available at trinitylutheran-jenera.org.
During the Sunday, Dec. 27, 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. servicer Silas Schmitzer, a son of the congregation, will preach. He is a senior at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.
