Emily Sprague lone winner for Pirates

Junior Emily Sprague came away with the lone Bluffton victory in a 4-1 team loss to Shawnee in girls tennis Monday afternoon at Harmon Field courts.
Sprague, playing at No. 2 singles, took two out of three sets in the Pirate ladies opening match.
Seniors Ashlin Gable and Kristi Geiser dropped straight set matches at No. 1 and No. 3 singles, respectively. Rachel Sehlhorst and Shaye Liddick dropped both sets at No. 1 doubles, as did Bronwyn Greer and Mariah Hughes at No. 2 doubles.
BHS is at Kenton Thursday. The Wildcats lost to Upper Sandusky 5-0 in their opener Monday.
