Anne Stratton, a licensed and certified appraiser who is nationally recognized in the antique appraisal field, will present a program titled "Unpuzzle Your Past by Analyzing Old Photos" on Tuesday, June 14, at 6:30 p.m. T
his program will be held in the lower level of the Bluffton Public Library and is sponsored by Deer Creek Shoppes.
A special service will be held on Ascension Day, Thursday, June 2, at 7 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera. The service, commemorates Jesus' ascension into Heaven. Everyone is welcome and the church is handicapped accessible. For more information, see: tlcjenera.org
It's time for a picnic. This week's community meal, set for 6 p.m., Thursday, June 2, at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center takes the feel of a picnic.
The menu includes hot dogs ready to be topped with your choice of ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, onions, relish, cheese or chili sauce.
There will also be baked beans, potato salad, lettuce salad and your choice of dessert.

Beginning June 6, readers of all ages will travel the globe this summer as part of Bluffton Public Library's Summer Reading Program.
Children will explore places from Oceania to Russia through stories, crafts, music, snacks and other activities during the K-5 Summer Reading Club, "One World, Many Stories."
