Women's Entrepreneurial Network (WEN) - open to women and men - will meet at 11:30 a.m., Monday, April 18, in Jeanne's Kitchen, 112 Vine St., Bluffton.Linda Everhardt-Kardux, president of the organization, said that the meeting is open to all business owners, sole proprietors, sales people, people thinking about starting a business and people looking for a career change.

During the sesquicentennial week, June 24 to July 2, the Bluffton sesquicentennial planning committee is inviting business owners to encourage their employees to dress in old-fashioned clothing. These may represent any past decade.

Katalin Benno and Balazs Nagy

Respected instrument maker and performing artist Bal'azs Nagy and bandmate Katalin Benno from Budapest, Hungary, will appear in at the Bluffton Town Hall Concert Series at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 20.

A soup supper at 6 p.m., will launch the event. Events are on the third floor of the town hall. Admission is free; donations are accepted.

The performances will feature Hungarian folk, Medieval, and Renaissance music on the hurdy gurdy, a mechanized wheeled, according to Wendy Chappell-Dick of the village cultural affairs committee.

St. John's United Church of Christ will observe Bright Sunday on May 1 (Holy humor Sunday), according to Rev. Carol Clements, pastor of the congregation.

Pat Diller is the Mennonite Memorial Home employee of the month.

She is a dietary aide and has worked at Mennonite Memorial Home since 1997.

She knows each one in the dining room as if they are "family" and knows many of the resident's favorite dishes. She is very generous to offer second helpings and is very accommodating when it comes to acknowledging any special requests or dietary preferences.

In honor of administrative professionals, and working women in all walks of life, The Inn at Ohio Northern University is holding a free evening of celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27.

Hot hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be provided throughout the evening and a variety of luxurious experiences will be offered.
