The Revs. Chris Webb and Mickey Cox of Renovar'e, a Denver-based Christian spiritual formation organization, will discuss "The Place of Intentional Christian Formation in the Discipleship Process" as the Spiritual Life Week Forum speakers at Bluffton University. Ryan Price, a student at the University of Colorado-Denver and a Renovar'e volunteer, will join Webb and Cox for the forum, which is free and open to the public at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, in Yoder Recital Hall.
Bluffton University students who participated in the Washington, D.C., Community Scholars' Center and semester-abroad programs during fall semester 2010 will share their experiences at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, in Stutzman Lecture Hall in Centennial Hall. The forum is free and open to the public.
Brandon Fullenkamp, a pianist and conductor from Wapakoneta, will present his Bluffton University senior recital at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, in Yoder Recital Hall on the Bluffton campus. The recital is free and open to the public.
"At Work," an art department faculty exhibition at Bluffton University, opens Sunday, Feb. 6, in the Sauder Visual Arts Center's Grace Albrecht Gallery. A reception, free and open to the public, is scheduled with the artists from 3-5 p.m.
Film, food and entertainment are planned for Global Weekend at Bluffton University on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 4 and 5.
The weekend will begin Friday with a 7:30 p.m. screening of the 1997 Italian film "La vita `e bella (Life is Beautiful)" in Centennial Hall's Stutzman Lecture Hall. Academy Awards went to the film as Best Foreign Language Film and to its star, director and co-writer Roberto Benigni as Best Actor.
The Bluffton Public Library Teen Advisory Group (TAG) will kick off Library Lovers Month with a youth book sale Feb. 7-11. More than 1,000 "slightly or very loved" children's and teen books will be available by donation during regular library hours. "The library has had many book sales in the past which mostly consisted of books for adults," said Youth Services Coordinator, Rikki Steingass. "I think it's wonderful that this is the first book sale to focus on materials for youth because they love books just as much as grown-ups!"

Adult classes will meet at the library for five weeks on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m., beginning Feb. 17. No prior experience is necessary.
