Our goal is simple: to create active responses to the world around us.
We are not: educational, discussion, spiritual, single-themed, unified (necessarily) or politically affiliated with government.
We just want to act on our convictions. We will be meeting for lunch at Common Grounds Coffeehouse every first and third Thursday to write letters to the editor and plan events or initiatives.
All are welcome to come to meetings or join in planned actions.

A new scholarship is now available to a Bluffton High School senior who intends to major in education, according to Greg Denecker, Bluffton school superintendent.
"This scholarship was made possible due to Theda D. Hankish, who died on Sept. 16, 2008. This award is set up in honor of her parents Charles Hankish Sr. and Sophia Hankish," he said.
Each academic year a scholarship committee will award a $1,000 scholarship to one Bluffton High School senior who is entering the field of education to become a teacher.
On Jan. 25, Bluffton's council okayed a request from its board of zoning appeals to allow the Bluffton Hospital to construction a garage across from the hospital on Garau Street.
On the surface it may not appear to be major action, but it is another step in the hospital's renovation and expansion that should take place this year.
The action was required because the land in question needed to move from residential to commercial zoning. The complete minutes from the hearing on the zoning change request are found in the Bluffton council tab in The Icon.
