Football capital of America in Bluffton's backyard
FROM ADA ICON -There's a new paint job on a neighboring village water tower and it promotes something unique to that community.
Here's the Ada water tower looks, repainted this summer with the Wilson and NFL logos. The logos face toward the football factory so that all who enter the building will see them.
In the photo below:
Tim Reilly, a producer for Banner Collective in Chicago, videotapes the Wilson/NFL logos which are being painted on a water tower in Ada earlier this week.
He also took video of the manufacturing plant. The video will be on hand for Wilson's for social media, publicity, and advertising use. The Wilson football factory and ONU, whose name is on the other water tower, are two of Ada's claims to fame.
The Wilson water tower, built in 1929, is being repaired and painted by L.C. United Painting, Sterling Heights, Mich. The Wilson tower is 134 feet high to the balcony, 168 feet high to the top. It holds 100,000 gallons.
The newer ONU tower holds 300,000 gallons. The Village produces 500,000 gallons of water daily. (Monty Siekerman photo)
