Farm financial management program
AUGLAIZE COUNTY__Ohio State University Extension offices in Allen, Auglaize and Mercer counties will be presenting a Farm Financial Management College in January 2024.
This four night program is designed for any farmer looking to improve their farm financial management skills. This course will develop an understanding of farm financial management, production record keeping and enterprise analysis. If participants are interested, this course also fulfills the requirements for Ohio’s Beginning Farmer Tax Credit Program Certification (House Bill 95).
The course will be taught by OSU Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Educators and State Specialists.
The classes will take place over four nights on January 16, 18, 23 & 25, 2024 from 6:00-8:30 PM. A free meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. each night. The program will take place in the Auglaize County Administration Building, Basement Meeting Room, 209 South Blackhoof Street, Wapakoneta, OH 45895.
The cost of the program is $100 per person and $50 per additional family member. House Bill 95 requirements can be done at additional cost.

The meals are being sponsored by the Allen, Auglaize, Logan, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam, Shelby, and Van Wert County Farm Bureau and Farm Credit Mid-America.
