The Bluffton Senior Center will have a book sale on Friday, Sept. 9, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The sale continues Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon. Items include fiction with plenty of Amish books, nonfiction, paperbacks, magazines and movies. Books on Christmas, travel, crafts, sewing and nature to name just a few.
The Bluffton Senior Center is located at 132 N. Main St.
Kenton will be visited by 100 plus Model T Fords ranging in model year from 1910 to 1927 on Sunday, Sept. 4.
“The All Ohio Model T Jamboree is made up of model T clubs from all over Ohio and seven different states coming together touring and driving their cars” said Jack Putnam of Bluffton, event organizer.
“This is the 28th Annual Jamboree,” said Putman, every year it rotates to a different community in Ohio.
A holiday craft and vendor show is planned from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, in the Rawson Park Depot.
Vendors include, but are not limited to: Origami Owl, Usborne Books, Thirty-One, Angle Kiss Design, Believe in Fairy Magic, Damsel in Defense, Snowmen by Linda, Scentsy, Crafty Letters by Emily and Youngique.

The Bluffton High School guidance office will hold a financial aid meeting for parents and students (juniors and seniors) who plan to continue their education beyond high school.
The meeting is at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, in the high school library. Chris Fowler, financial aid director at Bluffton University, will make a presentation. He will discuss financial aid and filing the FAFSA form.
