George L. Brenneman, 81, of Rawson, died at 3:12 p.m. Aug. 28, 2012 at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. He was born June 25, 1931, in Shreve to Clifford and Grace Stair Brenneman.
On July 29, 1951, he married Christina "Jylene" Boston and she preceded him in death on June 27, 2006.
Mr. Brenneman retired from Mid-West Laser, Findlay, and also owned Brenneman Enterprises/Husqvarna Dealership in Rawson. He was a past mayor of Rawson and was a member of the Rawson Fire Department for 40 years, where he had been assistant chief.
Katherine Jo Wilson, 58, of Findlay died at 10:10 a.m. Aug. 27, 2012, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born March 18, 1954, in Lima to Robert F. and Betty Davenport Walters. Her mother survives in Bluffton. On Sept. 23, 1995 she married John D. Wilson and he survives.
She worked with her husband at Customer Service Transport, Findlay. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and decorating. She was a 1972 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School.
Merilyn J. Crabill, 94, of Arlington died Monday, Aug. 27, 2012 at Lake West Medical Center, Willoughby, after a brief illness. She was born on June 5, 1918 to the late John and Goldie (Burns) Battles in Bluffton, OH. She married William "Ed" Crabill on May 26, 1946, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 2009, after 63 years of marriage.
A memorial service for Peter G. Fast who died Aug. 9, 2012, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Mennonite Church, Bluffton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Fast was born on April 28, 1925, north of Chinook, Montana, but his family soon moved to Mt. Lake, Minnesota, where he grew up on the family farm. He was the youngest of nine children.
Winifred C. Staley, 91, of Bluffton died at 11:22 a.m. Aug. 26, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born May 3, 1921 in Bath Township, Allen County to Charles L. and Mollie Johnson Mason. On July 3, 1941 she married Russell D. Staley and he survives.
Mrs. Staley was a homemaker. Winifred and Russell celebrated their 71st anniversary with their annual family picnic and softball game.
Lois E. Agin, 95, of Bluffton died at 9:06 a.m. Aug. 27, 2012, at her residence. She was born Aug.24, 1917, in Bluffton to William P. and Susan Klingler Clark Agin.
Miss Agin retired from Triplett Corp., Bluffton in 1983. She was a graduate of Bluffton High School. She loved to crochet, garden, watch birds and play cards.
Many nieces and nephews survive her. She was preceded in death by six sisters, Alma Diller, Evea Little, Ella Keller, Clara Jones, Dortha Agin, Lily Dean Agin, three brothers, Jacob Agin, George Agin, Ivan Agin and a half brother, Paul Clark.
