Sometimes, it's not about how you start, it's how you finish.

Despite the 20-0 lead going into the 2nd quarter, Delphos Jefferson found a way to make the game interesting. However, the Pirates were able to close the door and win their 3rd consecutive game to start the season, 37-28.

Coming off a big win over Lincolnview, Bluffton High School girls' soccer team was shut out by a tough Bath squad 7-0 at Bluffton on Sept. 10.

No one could catch Aaron Beach on Saturday. Beach won the BFR Labor Day weekend 5K in 16:43 seconds.

Erin Dendinger was the first woman to cross the finish line. She did so in 25:39. Randy Barnhorst was the men's Pump N Run winner while Amy Byers won the women's division.
