BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men delighted their Alumni Day cheering throng with a highlight-reel effort in a 100-96 OT victory on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017! The Beavers improved to 12-9 overall and 5-9 in the Heartland Conference, while visiting Transylvania slipped to 13-8 and 8-6 in the HCAC.

About 75 Bluffton students, faculty and staff attended the event called, “Being Muslim in a world fearful of terrorism: Understanding the teachings of Islam and hearing what it’s like living as a Muslim in America today.”
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women’s basketball team hosted Manchester University on Wednesday, Feb. 1 and took control from the tip as they defeated the Spartans by a convincing 55-34 margin. The win pushed the Beavers to 16-4 overall and 10-3 in the HCAC while Manchester dipped to 7-13 on the season and 6-7 in the Heartland Conference.
NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Bluffton hit the road for a visit with the Manchester University Spartans on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Bluffton fell by a 74-66 score in overtime, slipping to 4-9 in the HCAC (11-9 overall), while the Spartans improved to 5-8 in the Heartland (7-13 overall).
Stu Cleek, associate dean for residence life, Westmont College, will present “Campus Racial Climate and Sense of Belonging at Bluffton University and Beyond” for Forum at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Yoder Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
As a doctoral student at the Rossier School of Education, University of Southern California, Cleek is completing a multi-institutional study that examines the perceptions of campus racial climate and sense of belonging by race/ethnicity, sex, religiosity and faith fit.
Bluffton University’s Concert Band will present the 2017 Winter Instrumental Concert at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 19, in Yoder Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
