LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Bluffton University women's basketball team won each quarter en route to a 67-44 dismantling of a quality Transylvania University squad on Saturday, Dec. 3. The Beavers stayed perfect at 5-0 overall after winning their Heartland Conference lidlifter. Transy slipped to 3-2 overall and 0-1 in the HCAC.

Bluffton saw its five-game winning streak come to an end as the Beavers fell to 5-1 and 0-1 in the HCAC. Transy evened up its overall mark at 2-2 with a 1-0 start in the conference.

Bluffton University’s music department has announced the soloists for its 121st performance of Handel’s “Messiah,” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, in Founders Hall.
Soloists are Leah Crane, soprano; Mitzi Westra, mezzo-soprano; Joseph Purifoy, tenor; and Mark Gilgallon, baritone. All four performers live in the Indianapolis area.
