Bluffton University

Taylor Steele of Bluffton is participating in a cross-cultural experience in Great Britain, May 6-25.

He and other Bluffton students—most of them members of Bluffton’s Camerata Singers—are exploring various faith communities in Scotland and England. Many of these communities are countercultural, but others connect very directly to the prevailing society. At times, students will be joining other choirs and musicians in singing, as well as visiting historic sites in London.

Salzman Stadium, the walking track, football field and soccer field (game field only) at Bluffton University will be closed to the public beginning May 25, as installation of synthetic turf and upgrades to the track take place. The facility will remain closed until construction is complete.

Bluffton University will offer six summer mathematics workshops for middle school and high school teachers.

Students who have completed grade seven or eight and an accelerated pre-algebra course may attend the seventh annual Bluffton University Junior High Mathematics Enrichment Camp Monday-Thursday, June 8-11.

Led by Dr. Donald Hooley, a professor of mathematics, participants will explore topics such as number theory and introductory cryptology using pencil and paper, calculators and computer software in group settings.
