Have you ever stumbled upon something quite by accident, than over a period of time realized you found something worthwhile, something life-changing.
I am a Bluffton High School parent who has found that something! My son came to us his Sophomore year expressing an interest in joining the Bluffton High School wrestling team.
Bluffton University together with First Mennonite, Grace Mennonite, Lima Mennonite, and Salem Mennonite will host Ted and Company in the First Mennonite Church sanctuary at 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 6.
Ted and Company will present one of their newer shows, "I'd Like to Buy an Enemy." It is a show that is suited more for adults and youth rather than children.

A collaboration between members of the Bluffton Emergency Services - police, fire and EMS - Allen County Sheriff's Office, Bluffton Exempted Village Schools, Allen East Schools and the Lima-Allen County Safe Communities Coalition takes place during the Jan. 20, home Bluffton boy's basketball game. The Pirates will host the Allen East Mustangs for the 6 p.m. contest.
Approximately 600 sophomores in Apollo Career Center's 11-member district will be visiting Apollo during Hands-On Day, Friday, Jan. 27. A snow date is Monday, Jan. 30. Parents of sophomore students are also invited to attend.
Hands-On Day exposes students to career possibilities that they may not know about. Students choose two programs of interest and then spend over two hours visiting those labs, meeting the instructors and participating in hands-on equipment demonstrations.
Louis and Lee Ann Savage of Bluffton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Joy Savage, to James Harris. The wedding will be held at Old Town Chapel in Leander, Texas, on March 24, 2012.
Joy graduated from Bluffton High School in 2004 and Bowling Green State University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Education. Joy is employed by Starbucks Coffee as a shift supervisor in Georgetown, Texas, and by Docent Research Group as an assistant in Austin, Texas.
The NCAA Division III recently announced the recipients of Academic All-Ohio honors for the 2011 season. Four Bluffton University soccer players were honored for their performance on the field and in the classroom this season.
Seniors Dan Saville (Toledo/Central Catholic), Andrew Keeler (Bluffton) and Seth Hertenstein (St. Mary's/Memorial) were three of just six Heartland Conference men to be honored by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Coaches Association. All three Beavers were named to the third team.
