Michael K. Augsburger, 59 died Nov. 5, 2013 at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. He was born Oct.16, 1954 in Bluffton to Donivan and Peggy (Eckenwiler) Augsburger. He married Paula Pursell and they were later divorced.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bluffton. He was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Bluffton.  

Survivors include a daughter Kim (Sean) Stevenson of Pandora; his mother Peggy Augsburger of Bluffton; and two brothers Jeffrey Augsburger of Bluffton and Mark (Denise) Augsburger of Novi, Michigan.

Several downtown Bluffton businesses invite Icon viewers to a Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8-9, Christmas open house.

Bluffton is in from some interesting music on Wednesday. The Moxie Strings will spend a day with Bluffton school students and will then perform at 7 p.m. in the Bluffton town hall as part of the Town Hall Concert Series.

Rachel Lewis, Bluffton schools strings teacher said, "I am very excited about The Moxie Strings coming to Bluffton. This is a trio including a fiddle player, electric cello player and a percussionist. The group has a with Celtic and bluegrass style of playing."

The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora-Gilboa School District. 

The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four. In order to pick up a box, you must register by calling 419-384-3038 by 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18. 

Boxes will be available to be picked up on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m. at the Grace Mennonite Church located at 502 East Main St., Pandora. Please note that the food boxes will be picked up the Saturday before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Sharon Bishop, 69, of Findlay, died at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 4, 1944 in Bluffton, to the late Oliver and Helen M. Steiner. On Aug. 31, 1968 she married Charles Bishop and he survives.

She is also survived by a daughter, Amy of Columbus, a son Stephen, a daughter-in-law Katie, and granddaughter Layla, all of Bloomington, Ind. She was preceded in death by a son, Andrew, a brother, David "Pete" Steiner, and stepfather, Cleon A. Steiner.
