Ebenezer Mennonite Church children’s choir, Disciple Singers, will present a spring musical called “Here for the Gold” on Sunday morning, April 26, at 10:15 a.m. in the Crossroads Ministry Center.  

The church is located at 8905 Columbus Grove Rd, Bluffton.  Everyone is welcome.

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University baseball team hosted Anderson University on Friday, April 17, to start a three-game series at Memorial Field. The Ravens pulled away with a three-run ninth inning to prevail over the Beavers. Bluffton fell to 17-12 on the season and 10-7 in the HCAC, while Anderson stands atop the HCAC at 20-8 and 12-5 in league play.

Every model of car imaginable was parked in the Bluffton Public Library in March.

During the month, children visiting the Bluffton Public Library were encouraged to guess how many toy cars were in the children's display case near the Preschool Discovery Room, according to Lauren Canaday, public services coordinator at the library.

Sunday, June 21, the GOBA (Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure) comes to Bluffton for an overnight stay. The estimate of the total number of bikers is around 2,500. Most of these bikers will tent on the Bluffton University campus or sleep in Burcky Gym.

Ernest Wiens Neufeld, 82, of Mountain Lake, Minn., died April 13, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. 

Neufeld was born June 12, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., to John T. and Catherine (Wiens) Neufeld.  He grew up in Chicago and graduated from Kelly High school in 1950. 

He attended Bluffton College and graduated in 1954. He continuing at Bethany Theological Seminary, Chicago, and Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, Ind. 

Bluffton University’s Alumni Field project, to install artificial turf and resurface and upgrade the running track and field event areas at Salzman Stadium, is now scheduled for completion in time for the fall 2015 sports seasons.
    
Bluffton alumni and friends have contributed more than $750,000 for the improvements, whose expected completion date is Aug. 1, also in time for fall preseason practice. A leadership team of 13 alumni athletes, friends and university trustees contributed gifts of $10,000 or greater, totaling $410,000.

A free seminar offered to anyone interested in learning more about ways to support one’s church, charity or other non-profit organization. 

Generous Living: Tools for Giving, will take place from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, at the Bluffton town hall, third floor.

The 9th Annual County Line Car Show will be held Saturday, July 11, from noon-3 p.m. at County Line Church of the Brethren, 4227 N. Hardin Road, Harrod. Registration is from 11 a.m.-noon. Entry fee is $10.

Car owners will be eligible for awards and door prizes. There will also be a chicken barbecue from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost is $8. For tickets, call 419-649-5364.

Children's activities will include a bound house and face painting. 

All profits will help pay for the new activity center.
