Some quotes heard in Bluffton:
“Don’t you realize? This is it. We may never see each other again.”
Jim Opperman

Elmer Neufeld once asked me, “Jaye, what is art?"
"I answered, your signature. That's art."
Jaye Bumbaugh

“When I tell people that I'm the postmaster's daughter they say, 'Oh, yeah.' I can never get away with anything because he's going to find out.”
Allie Gratz-Collier

Topic addresses permits, animal nuisances, appeals and penalties

Once upon a time nearly every household in Bluffton had a horse, possibly a cow and perhaps chickens.

These were animals serving an important function including travel and food. Those days are gone and it is doubtful they will return.

However, some animals as pets, other than dogs and cats, are appearing within the village limits.

Bluffton has few legal animal regulations other than dogs must be on leashes.
