The Southgate Open, an annual fundraising event for local non-profits and families, has filled all golf team slots for the August 13 event at Bluffton Golf Club.

Alven and Marilyn Osting will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary on July 4, 2022. Alven and Marilyn were married July 4,1952 at Delphos St. John’s Church in Delphos.
They also will each be celebrating their 90th birthdays later this year. Marilyn was born October 28, 1931 and Alven was born November 15, 1931. They share four boys and one girl, Phil, Jeff, Rob, Chris and Cheryl.
On the last Friday of the month, the Ohio Northern University Healthwise program provides a mobile health clinic with free health screenings at Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main St.
Volunteerism! Most of, if not all non-profits depend on the volunteers to further their mission. Without volunteers the Boy Scouts of America would not be able to serve millions of youth nationwide over the past 120 years with the leadership, character, citizenship and fitness training that makes youth prepared for life and the leaders of tomorrow.
You're invited: "Bring yourself, friends and family for an afternoon of woodland fun at The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm during the 2022 Summer Family Day on Saturday, June 25."
The rural Pandora nature preserve will be open to visitors from 1 to 4 p.m., when you can see the 1853 log cabin, learn about birds, insects and who to attract them, and visit residents of the farm animal sanctuary.
The Bluffton Town Hall Concert Series has announced 7 p.m., July 23 performances by Dreamjacket (Jesse W. Johnson of Chicago) and Ric Hickey (Bluffton).
Performances are on the third floor of Bluffton Town Hall, 156 N. Main St.
