First graders get their first Bluffton history lesson
Bluffton first graders saw first-hand how this community's rural pioneers lived. Last week, the students toured the Swiss Community Hisitorical Society's Schumacher Homestead. Jamie Nygard shares these photos with Icon viewers. The view above shows the homestead summer kitchen. Rachel Friesen shared about the kitchen with students. Gary Wetherill talked with students about farming. Pat Scheidler also talked with students. (Jamie Nygard photos)
