Ashley Wildermuth (Find A Ride transportation specialist) had a gentleman from Vaughnsville call into the agency stating that his wife had just gotten out of the hospital and was in desperate need of wheelchair transportation for the next day.

This past June, I was sponsored to attend a government camp called Buckeye Girls State. As nerdy as it may sound, my experience at Buckeye Girls State was very fun and exciting. I made wonderful friends, and I learned many things about state and local government. I believe this knowledge is important.

Leroy “Lee” Henry Moore III, husband and father, of Ottawa, Ohio, died 4:44 a.m. on July 17, 2022, at the age of 46 following a battle with cancer. Lee was born on August 21, 1975, in Morehead, KY to Leroy and Bonnie (Geckle) Moore.  His father is deceased, and his mother survives in Continental.  On November 7, 1998, he married Melissa Beemer and she survives in Ottawa.

The Bluffton Community Pool has announced that starting July 18, weekday lap swim will  be earlier than usual:

  • 10:00-11:00 a.m. for the next two weeks

This is for weekdays only. The pool is located at 205 Snider Rd., phone (419) 358-2066.

A juried, pop-up art gallery advocating for body positivity is coming to Lima. Sponsored by Wild Rose Photography LLC and the Council for the Arts of Greater Lima, the Every Body Art Show celebrates the human body in all it’s varied sizes, shapes, ages, skin tones and flaws.

The public is invited to an opening event from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, at 516 North Main St. in Lima, OH.
