Before building the nice field out at Village Park, the baseball teams for Bluffton High School played at the southeast corner of Harmon Field, near the railroad tracks. It also served for softball games. This was after Triplett Corporation used to sponsor excellent baseball teams. When they played, the diamond was in front of the stadium. I used to go to their games. They had talented players who were out of school. The games were highly competitive.
Two local issues are on Bluffton ballots for the May 3 election: an income tax renewal for the Bluffton Exempted Village School District and a liquor sales option in Precinct B for the 1861 Wine Lounge to be located at 115 N. Main St., Bluffton.
The Allen County Board of Elections has posted sample ballots for the May 3 election on its website; however, voter district information for Ohio House, Ohio Senate, and State Central Committee is not expected until March 28.

Hospice volunteers are an essential part of the hospice philosophy, which is comfort and dignity. Hospice clinicians and volunteers work together to offer a holistic approach in caring for patients and their loved ones, meeting the medical needs, while also providing emotional, spiritual and social support. Hospice volunteers help provide patients and families with compassionate care during their end-of-life journey.
Hello, my name is Matt Burkholder. I am the owner of Burkholder Healthy Farms in Allen County. I have partnered with The Nature Conservancy in an effort to be an advocate to farmers in the Maumee River watershed. I planted my first cover crop of annual rye grass in the fall of 2009. I have been diligently learning about Regenerative Agricultural practices ever since. It is my goal to begin meeting with neighboring farmers and landowners who are interested in learning more about these practices.
