All Bluffton High School Junior Class parents are invited to the final Post-Prom Planning Meeting on Wednesday, April 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria. Parents who would like to be involved but are unable to attend this meeting are asked to contact Susan Liska.

Note: Barbara Plaugher provided the following column about her recent VOSH-Ohio Mission to Peru.

Here I sit in the Peruvian jungle drenched from the seasonal rains that has even curled my passport. We just completed our annual VOSH-Ohio mission into Iquitos, Peru, a land-locked city in the jungle.

As Bluffton Christians enter Holy Week, several special worship services are planned by area congregations.

^aEUR"The Bluffton Area Ministerial Association is again sponsoring the Cross Walk for Good Friday, April 22.

The carrying of the cross to commemorate Jesus' passion will begin at:
o St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. and proceed to
o First United Methodist Church,
o First Mennonite Church,
o Bluffton Presbyterian Church,
o English Lutheran Church,
o and ends at St. John United Church of Christ.

Kirstie Runion is completing her semester as an Icon intern. We invited her to offer a comparison between Bluffton and her hometown - suburban Cincinnati. Here are some of her observations:

Leland Gerber took this photo of a local estate sale. Clyde Warren, holding the glass bowl, is the auctioneer. It appears that a woman on the left just bid on the bowl.

Look closely at the crowd. Doesn't that look like Gerald Huber with black-framed glasses to the left of Warren?

We do not know the location or the date of the photo, but the clothing hints at late '60s or early 1970s.
