Bluffton's arts and crafts show was a big hit on Saturday. The event included crafts, entertainment, food and a chance to find something for mother on Mother's Day. Here's a dozen or so photos that capture many aspects of the popular downtown festival.
Vehicle registration for this 52nd annual Bluffton Festival of Wheels is underway according to Dan Diller, festival director.
The show is sponsored by the Bluffton Lions Club.
This year’s festival is Friday, June 14, in downtown Bluffton. Registration is from 2 to 5 p.m. Vehicle judging is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Trophies will be awarded at 7:30 p.m.
The show is open to antique cars, classic cars, trucks, tractors, golf carts, fire engines, motorcycles and Cushmans.
Registration fees by May 31 are $10 per vehicle. Registration on the day of the event is $12.
It's time to sign-up for the Bluffton Bucs midget football team for the coming fall season. Registration fee is $75 and the deadline to register is July 31. Click on the attachment below to print the registration form.

Interstate 75 northbound near state Route 103, Bluffton, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for bridge deck repairs during daytime hours on Thursday, May 16.
Entrance ramp from state Route 103 to Interstate 75 northbound will be closed during daytime hours on Thursday, May 16, for bridge deck repairs. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 103 and state Route 235 back to Interstate 75 northbound.
Work is being performed by the ODOT District 1 roadway services department.
The Jerry Szabo Trio will perform in tonight's Bluffton Town Hall Concert Series.
The performance is at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall, 154 N. Main St.
Members of the trio are Szabo, Dave Sycks and Dean Alstaetter. The performance is free and open to the public.

Jerry Szabo is the founder of the Jerry Szabo Trio. He has freelanced as an oboist and drummer in New York City with Barbra Streisand among others.
