On October 31, 2022 our account was part of a massive outage reported regarding the social media outlet.

Elementary students can return high-fives at November 5 football game

Bluffton Elementary School students have been provided with a flyer allowing them free admission to the Bluffton University football game on Saturday, November 5, so that they may form a tunnel for players as they enter the field against Anderson University.

Many of the university football players have been regular participants in High Five Fridays, welcoming students to school in the morning.

Garden club to explore propagating shrubs and perennials

The Gardeners of the Bluffton Pandora Area will meet for a program about propagating plants at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1 at Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main.

Farmers Market farewell

October 29 was the last Bluffton Farmers Market gathering for 2022. Pictured here, Sarah Nycz of Goodness & Grace home bakery was ready with her puffer jacket and warm gloves. Market manager Greg Probst noted that the market enjoyed a great turnout for the end of October and great weather in general.

BHS Drama Club finds something funny about lockdown

Performances at 7:30 p.m. on November 11 and 12

The Bluffton High School Drama Club is preparing a comic play about the days of COVID lockdown. A brief preview of rehearsals of Still Stuck at Home had the Icon stifling laughs backstage while the cast, crew and directors worked on blocking, set arrangement and learning their lines.
