April 1
-Police responded to a Grove-Bluffton Rd. residence in regards to a civil complaint and a child custody dispute.
April 2
-Police stopped a truck in the Village Park for being in the park after dark and discovered Nancy Pontious, 43, Celina, operating the truck. Ms. Pontious was subsequently arrested for OVI and the case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
April 5
-A Vance St.business filed a report in regards to someone passing bad checks at the business.
-Officers responded to a Jefferson St. business in regards to a Breaking and Entering complaint. Upon arrival officers discovered that someone had pried open the door to the business and several items were missing.
April 7
-A S. Lawn Ave. resident reported unauthorized usage of his credit card by an unknown person.
April 8
-Police took a report of a stolen bicycle from a university resident.
April 9
-Officers responded to Bluffton University in regards to a Breaking and Entering complaint. They discovered that unknown persons had broken into a university building and had stolen several food items.
April 11
-Officers discovered damage to property at the Village Park and upon further investigation located four subjects who eventually admitted they had caused the damage. Charges of Criminal Trespassing are pending.
-Officers responded to Bluffton University in regards to unknown persons breaking into a university building and causing damage and stealing food items.
April 12
-Officers responded to a N. Main St. business and took a criminal damaging report.
April 14
-Officers responded to a Riley St. residence in regards to a child being bitten by a neighbor's dog.
April 15
-Officers took a complaint of a bicycle theft from an Alpine Dr. resident.
