Teresa Rieman 1939-2010
Teresa Ann Rieman, 70, of Bluffton died at 12:00 p.m. July 9, 2010 at her residence. She was born on Aug. 3, 1939 in New Cleveland to Norbert and Dorothy Lammers Kuhlman.
On July 1, 1961 she married Karl Rieman and he survives.Teresa was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bluffton, where she was a former parish council member, lector, greeter and usher.
She served 24 years on the Cory-Rawson School Board and was also a PTA and music booster member. She enjoyed decorative painting, was a member of the Ohio Heirlooms of Tomorrow Society and was also a painting instructor.
Mrs. Rieman graduated as class valedictorian from Miller City High School in 1957. She then graduated from St. Rita's School of Nursing in 1960 as a RN.
Also surviving is a son, Tony (Jennifer) Rieman of Arlington, five daughters, Diana (Tim) Bucher of Findlay, Karla (Mark) Stechschulte of Findlay, Beth (Yuri) Romero of Cary, N.C., Sue (Wayne) Pickford of Gahanna, Lori (Chad) Wolford of Bluffton,
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, Sarah and Alise Bucher, Leah and Jenna Stechschulte, Natasha and Marco Romero, Joseph and Vanessa Rieman, Jack and Anthony Pickford, Luke and Paige Wolford, a brother, Martin (Deb) Kuhlman of Leipsic, five sisters, Nancy (Gerald) Schimmoeller of North Andover, Mass., Sister Mary Kuhlman OSF of Tiffin, Wilma (Norman) Inkrott of Leipsic, Ruth (David) Nartker of Ottawa and a sister-in-law, Rosemary Kuhlman of Novelty.
A brother, Carl Kuhlman, preceded her in death.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 12, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bluffton. Rev. John Stites will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton.
A Parish Wake Service will be held Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice or St. Mary's Catholic Church.
