2011 facility stars announced from MHCO
Each year residents, families and others can recommend employees from Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio for their outstanding care and service they give.
This year MHCO received many nominations. Eight people were chosen from the organization to attend the "LeadingAge Ohio" regional award luncheon to be honored for their outstanding care.
Five were from Mennonite Memorial Home and three were from Maple Crest Senior Living Village.
They were: Amanda Courtney, Emily Koogler, Karen Wilkins, Kayla Herrmann, Kristen Niekamp, Susan Bixel, Rita Montgomery and Joy Siders.
LeadingAge Ohio is a non-profit, statewide organization that coordinates the efforts of the not-for-profit providers of housing and health care services to Ohio's senior citizens.
"MCHO is proud of their staff and is glad to take the opportunity to recognize them in their mission to serve the elders in our community." said Laura Voth, CEO of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio.
