Bluffton Senior Center cookie walk invite community groups to participate
Dear Bluffton Community Member,
Happy Holidays! I know it seems liike the Christmas holiday is still many months away,
but it will be here before we know it!
This year Bluffton Senior Center and Signature Health Services will be hosting the first ever Christmas Cookie Walk as a fundraiser for the activities that the Senior Center provides for our area seniors.
We are looking for Community Groups to "adopt" a table and bake 12 dozen cookies for
their table. The cookies will be displayed on the table along with a sign representing
your organization and the type of cookie you are providing. Members of the community
will be invited to purchase a bag for cookies in the 1/2 dozen, full dozen or 2 dozen
amount. Then they will walk thru the tables and pick out their holiday cookies, no baking
necessary!
As a cookie contributor, we will recognize you in our cookie program, with the sign on
your table and we will offer a prize for "best decorated table" and "best cookie" as voted
on by then Senior Center-members.
It will be a fun community event that will help support a great community organization! If
you are able to support this event, please contact Rebecca McKibben Schwarz at
419.701.9400 or Tonya Meyer at 419.358.8971 and register your organization and
cookie choice!
Very Sincerely,
Rebecca McKibben Schwarz
