United Way will ring your doorbell on Tuesday evening
The 2013-14 United Way of Bluffton, Beaverdam, and Richland Township goes door-to-door Tuesday evening, Sept. 17, according to Duane Bollenbacher.
"When the campaign worker comes calling at your door, please greet the volunteer and thank the persons for volunteering to help," he said. "Please consider that every donation that you can make, big or small will be used locally to help you, your family, your neighbor, and the entire community."
If you are not home, or cannot help at that time, you may take or mail your contributions to Citizens National Bank.
SPECIAL NOTE: If you would like to volunteer to help with this solicitation, come to the Senior Citizens’ Center at 6 p.m.
"For you who are on rural deliveries, if you have not yet received your pledge form in the mail, that will be coming very soon. Again, we ask for any financial help that you can give for our local agencies," said Bollenbacher.
Likewise, the Bluffton businesses and industries will be contacted again this fall.
"We thank you very much for your generous support in the past, and we look forward to your help in this venture again this year," he said.
