BCE launches 2015 business plan competition at chamber breakfast
Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs will sponsor the Friday, Oct. 10, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast program.
The free chamber breakfast is at 7 a.m. with the chamber meeting from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall.
The program serves as the launch of BCE’s fifth annual Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition. It also will provide chamber members with a progress report of BCE activities over the past year.
The business plan competition, held from January through March, offers cash start-up funds for winners. Kathy Keller, Rhodes State College, Lima, will lead the weekly sessions for those entered in the contest. A panel of judges selected winners following their business plan presentations in March.
Several previous competition winners will provide chamber members with progress reports on their businesses during Friday’s breakfast.
Chamber members will also hear updates on this year’s Blaze of Lights, set for Saturday, Nov. 29, and the downtown business holiday lighting contest.
Guests at the breakfast include senior members of the Bluffton High School and Bluffton University homecoming courts. The breakfast provider is Sodexo, Bluffton University food service.
Persons interested in attending the free breakfast may RSVP to [email protected]
