Carolyn Risner 1938 - 2016
Carolyn J. Risner, 78, died on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at noon at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
She was born on June 1, 1938, in Lima, Ohio, to Claude and Della (Hall) Gullett who preceded her in death. On May 19, 1956, Carolyn married Paul E. Risner and he preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 2015.
She was a member of Grace Gospel Church of Ada. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons: Jeffrey (Rhonda) Risner of Ada, Alan (Tammy) Risner of Bluffton and David Risner; three grandchildren: Kyle, Nathan and Kelsey; two sisters: twin sister, Marilyn (Harry) King of Kenton and Priscilla Ochier of Ada.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with Pastor Trent Boedicker officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, and until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
The family is requesting no flowers, and memorial contributions be made to the Grace Gospel Church at 321 North Gilbert Street, Ada, Ohio 45810.
