BLUFFTON, Ohio - Junior Bethany Martini (Pickerington, Ohio/North) has been named the Heartland Conference Player of the Week after leading the Beavers to a 3-1 mark. It marks the second time in three weeks that Martini has been the Offensive Player of the Week in the HCAC!

The powerful outside pounded 62 kills (4.77 KPS) for a .260 hitting percentage. She was named the Bluffton Fall Classic MVP after a career-high 22 kills in a four-set victory over Allegheny.

Bluffton will travel to Baldwin Wallace this weekend to participate in the HCAC/OAC Crossover Tournament. The Beavers open with John Carroll at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22.
