September 22, 2017
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's soccer team dropped an 8-0 decision to Huntington University on an oppressively hot Friday, Sept. 22, 2017. Huntington improved to 4-3-1 overall, while Bluffton fell to 1-6 on the season.
The visiting Foresters netted two goals in the first five minutes and never looked back on the way to an 8-0 shutout of the Beavers. Huntington finished with a marked 34-3 edge in shots, while forcing three of the five corner kicks in the match.
Freshman keeper Jules Frazier (Nova/Mapleton) racked up 12 saves in the contest.
Bluffton travels to Heidelberg University on Tuesday, Sept. 26, for a non-conference battle in Tiffin. The match is slated for 4 p.m.
