Bedtime Stories
Bluffton High School Drama Club presents "Bedtime Stories," during two performances later this month.
The play's actual title is "Bedtime Stories (As Told by Our Dad) (Who Messed them Up). Performances are 7:30 p.m., (doors open 6:30 p.m.), Saturday, Nov. 18, and 2 p.m. (doors open 1 p.m.), Sunday, Nov., 19, in the Bluffton Middle School cafetorium.
General admission tickets are available at the door, $4 for adults and $1 for students.
Here's a quick synopsis of the play:
It's Dad's turn to tell his three rambunctious kids their bedtime stories, but when he gets fuzzy on the details, the classics get creative:
• a prince with a snoring problem spices up The Princess and The Pea,
• The Boy Who Cried Wolf cries dinosaur instead, and
• Rumpelstiltskin helps turn all that pesky gold into straw.
You may think you know your fairy tales, but not the way Dad tells them.
