University concert to feature chamber music March 22
University’s instrumental chamber ensembles will present their first featured recital at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 22.
Four ensembles will provide the music for the evening which will feature selections such as “Duo No. 1 for Clarinet and Bassoon, WoO 27” by Ludwig van Beethoven, “Pastoral” by Vincent Persichetti and an arrangement of “Adagio” from Symphony No. 3 by Camille Saint-Saens.
Performing will be a woodwind quintet, a woodwind trio and a clarinet/bassoon duo under the direction of Dr. Andrew Liebermann and a trombone quartet under the direction of Dr. Roy Couch.
The event is free and open to the public.
